11:30 - 13:30   Eco- Community & Village Design - Robina McCurdy

To become familiar with the PP standing behind the design for human settlement, especially the complexity of multiple zones and their overlap.

To have exposure to a range of ecovillages and co-housing and intentional communities around the world (powerpoint) and their particular strength and features.

Learn the typical steps and stages, from pioneering a land-based community through to establishment phase.

14:00 - 15:30    How to design Social Systems - Robina McCurdy & Lillee Star

Understanding of what social design and how to apply the permaculture principles to social design

Understand the relationship between physical landscape design and social design

And to have a taste of some different tools to use for social design
