Hinewai Reserve is an ecological restoration project on the Banks Peninsula occupying 1250 ha of the reserve of mostly mosaic native forests in various stages of growth. Hugh Wilson has used controversial techniques learned from nature's example to bring about the native bush of this area. Join us for a presentation from huge and a walk around the restored native bush. This is not part of this weekend's topic, though the location is very close to our other sites so we have brought this forward from next month's topic. W1:
