CPI's Vision
 Growing Permaculture in Canterbury… Our aim is to elevate permaculture knowledge & design into common understanding and community discussions. To share valuable design systems, and tools that can be used to help our society transition into a future with clean water, safe and abundant food, renewable energy and resources, healthy watersheds, and prosperous people and ecosystems.​

        Our Aims

To promote and facilitate permaculture education through hands-on learning environments to gain the tools & techniques to become confident permaculture designers and implementers;

​

To create resilient landscapes and regenerative living practices that work in harmony with both nature and the people who inhabit it;

To share information about activities and properties around Canterbury that demonstrate the permaculture​ in action and encourage networking locally & regionally​;

 

To aid the advancement in permaculture study & research, including the sharing of knowledge and practices of other bioregions​ in Aotearoa New Zealand and beyond;

 

To research, develop and support systems change that helps combat climate change and emergency response events;

 

To build a permaculture community & create avenues to develop permaculture courses, events, careers  and lifestyle opportunities;

PiNZ Affiliation

This is a PiNZ Affiliated Permaculture course under the Permaculure in New Zealand's Educators Guild. We support their objectives whilst actively participating in the functions that PEG uphold.
